INGREDIENTS
- Half a butter
- 2 1/2 Cup of flour
- 4 Eggs
- 1 Tablespoon of milk
- 2 Cup or more(according to your taste)of sugar
- 1 Teaspoon of baking soda / powder
- 1 Teaspoon of vanilla essence
- Cream,chocolate or any decorative items(optional)
First butter the cake tin evenly and then in a bowl whisk the butter and sugar until creamy texture. In another bowl mix flour and baking soda. Separate the eggs' yolk in the butter and sugar mixture and white in another bowl and whisk the egg white till foam appears. Then add vanilla essence and milk (and only a little bit of cream if you want) to the whisked egg whites.Now, in the butter, sugar and egg yolk mixture mix in the flour and egg white gradually mixing well. Now fold the cake mixture until smooth and free from lump ( maximum 10 mins). Then pour the mixture into the cake tin and even it out and you can even make it only a little bit hollow in the middle so that the cake rises evenly. Now leave it to cook in a 170 degree celsius oven for about 25 to 35 minutes. Leave it to cool for about 30 mins before decorating with any item you like (optional) or have it just like that.
NOTE: But also check whether the cake has been cooked or not using a cake tester.
